This website is operated by Amgreat Hong Kong Limited (“Amaran”), having its registered office in Hong Kong, China. This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal data within the context of the services provided through our European web shop. Amaran respects your privacy and processes personal data as a data controller in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as: “GDPR“). This Privacy Statement was last updated on 1/5/2026.

We may unilaterally change or update this Privacy Statement and we encourage you to review this Privacy Statement periodically for any updates. If there are substantive amendments made to this Privacy Statement, a clear notification will be made available on our website: eu.amarancreators.com.

Amaran may process your following personal data:

• name, address, and place of residence;
• contact details (such as email address and telephone number);
• payment information;
• data related to the device you use to visit our website, such as an IP address;
• data related to your visit to our website, such as pages visited, time spent on pages, referring website, and browser type.

Amaran may process your personal data for the following purposes:

• to comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
• to perform a (sales) contract;
• for marketing or customer relations, such as newsletters and promotional offers (with your explicit required consent);
• to inform you about relevant products and services:
• for generating statistics regarding the use of the website and/or to analyze and improve the website (with your explicit required consent);
• for posting reviews on the Amaran website;

We may process your personal data based in the following lawful grounds:

• where the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance or preparation of Amaran’s agreement with you, for example to provide you with a quotation, to process and deliver your order to you, for invoicing purposes or to interact with you regarding our products, services or your purchase transaction with Amaran;
• where the processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation for Amaran, for example for the fulfillment of our tax obligations;
• where processing is necessary for the purpose of Amaran’s legitimate interest to provide our products and services to our customers and the visitors of our website as best as possible, to maintain network security and to prevent fraudulent use of our website and operations; in case we process your personal data based on a legitimate ground, we will always balance our legitimate company interests with your privacy rights, interests and reasonable privacy expectations;
• in some cases, where you have given your explicit prior consent for the use of your data (e.g. subscriptions to our newsletters or promotional mailings) or in case you contact us with any questions regarding our company.

Amaran will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we process your data. Your personal data will be deleted or restricted if Amaran no longer needs your personal data for that purpose. In the event of restriction, your data will be deleted as soon as the legal, statutory or contractual retention period no longer prevents deletion. 

Upon cancellation of your account on our website, we will cease processing of your personal data associated with that account and we will delete such data, except to the extent necessary for financial administration purposes or for the establishment, exercise or defence against legal claims.

Amaran’s European web shop is built on the Shopify cloud-based e-commerce platform. This means, based on our agreements with Shopify Inc, that your personal data will be primarily processed and stored on servers within Europe (the EEA, UK and/or Switzerland). However, we (or Shopify, as our processor of personal data) do rely on data transfers to countries outside of Europe for processing your personal data, as further set out below. In some cases, this is to the US and Canada (to affiliates of Shopify, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission), and in some cases to China, for the purpose of processing, fulfilling and delivering your purchase order (but without storing your personal data on server locations in China) or to interact with you in case you contact us.

When we process your personal data, you have the following privacy rights:

Right of access:

You have to right to request access to your personal data.

Right to rectification:

If the information regarding your personal data is not correct or complete, then you have the right to ask Amaran to rectify this.

Right to removal:

In some cases, you can ask Amaran to delete your personal data. Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are required to retain your data in order to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Right to restriction of processing:

You can ask Amaran to temporarily stop using your personal data.

Right to data portability:

In some cases, you have a right to data portability pursuant to article 20 GDPR. In that case, you may request Amaran to transfer your personal data to you or directly to another organization in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

Right to object:

You may have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons based on your specific situation pursuant to article 21 GDPR. In that case, we will no longer process the personal data unless in case we have compelling legitimate grounds for the processing overriding your privacy interests, in particular if the processing is required to meet our legal and regulatory obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Right to file a complaint with the authorities
