My name is Chibuzor Ossai. I’m a Nigerian digital creator, video storyteller, and content creation coach. I create educational videos that help creators do more with less, including tutorials, lighting tips, and tech reviews, primarily for Instagram and YouTube.

I’ve always been curious and never wanted to simply blend in. My journey began with the desire to do something different from what was expected of me—something that gave me the freedom to express myself creatively, make the mundane feel special, and help others.

I started creating content around 2019 and 2020, initially as a fashion creator. But what caught people’s attention wasn’t my outfits—it was my editing. I started receiving questions about my transitions and techniques, which led me to share video tutorials and editing tips. In 2023, I pivoted into cinematic short films and launched my How to Film Yourself series.

I consume a broad range of content critically, which allows me to keep learning and expanding my knowledge. Trying something new or taking on something difficult also helps me stay creative. To avoid burnout, I make sure to rest and take breaks when I need them.

One of my proudest moments was hosting my first international physical workshop on storytelling, content creation, and lighting this year! It felt so unreal! I’m just really grateful that I'm able to help more creators do more with what they have.

My advice is simple, “no time like now to start”. Taking the first step today beats waiting for the "perfect" moment, which usually never arrives
